Hanley Energy are currently looking for a SCADA/HMI Applications Engineer to join our team and play a significant role in project design, development and delivery for our multinational clients. This is a permanent position with progression opportunities at both local and international level.
Responsibilities Include:
- SCADA/HMI Application Development
- Development of Graphics / Tag Databases / Equipment Interfaces
- Testing and debugging developed systems
- Day to day support of deployed systems
- Project documentation
Requirements:
- Experience with IA Ignition and FactoryTalk View SE preferred
- Previous experience with scripting languages such as Java, Python
- Understanding of industrial automation protocols
- Ability to interpret Electrical and Networking diagrams and schematics.
- Proven track record of achieving objectives and delivering value
- A strong work ethic with a clear focus on delivery and quality
- Self-starter with ability to manage own work
- Relevant 3rd level engineering qualification
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with fluent English
- Full Valid Irish work permit is essential
